FLA 5

Chapter 14

The next morning Stephanie walked down the stairs hesitantly hopeful. She really wanted her dad to remember he made her a promise of father daughter day but she wasn't going to remind him in case he forgot. She walked into the kitchen with her Ipod on and the earphone only in one ear as she saw her mom and dad kissing "Still?"

"This is better than us fighting don't you think?" Jon questioned as he pulled Dot closer.

"Well yeah but seriously do you need a kiss every minute dad?"

"Yes I do." he smirked then kissed his wife once more.

"Mom can't you control him?" Steph laughed as she sat down at the table.

"I could if I wanted to honey but I like when he kisses me. It makes me tingle." Dot laughed

"TMI" Steph laughed.

Jon laughed as he sat down at the table. "So do you still want to hang out with your old dad today?"

"You remembered?" She asked hopefully.

"Yeah Steph, I may be getting older but my mind still works." he joked.

"I just thought that something would come up as usual." She said. Being the oldest allowed her more ability to recall all the times where family had been put on hold for some reason or another.

"Well I've had a few discussions with your mom about that lately and family is going to come first from now on." he smiled then stood up as did his daughter. "I'm going to go hang out with my daughter for today." he said proudly then kissed his wife. "You know where we will be if you need us." He put his arm around his daughters shoulders as they walked out the door and over to the studio.

Stephanie walked in her fathers arms with a bounce in her step that's not normally evident.

"So what made you want to hang out in the studio? I didn't think you liked my kind of music?"

Jon opened the door to allow her inside the studio and motioned her in.

"Some of its ok dad." She smiled as he let her into the studio. All of the equipment sparkled in her eyes. So this was dad's sanctuary. "You know I've only been in here 3 times before now in my entire life."

"Yeah I know." he smiled seeing how happy his daughter was.

"But in the old house I always took you down to the studio with me."

"I don't remember that much. How old was I when we moved here?"

She asked still looking around and running her hands on the sound board, not adjusting anything just touching.

"I think you were about 6 when we finally got settled here."

"Jake's age, no wonder I don't remember." She handed him her ipod. "Can you take a vocal track off an mp3?"

"Yeah, Obie showed me how the other day the last time he was in." he took the ipod from her. "Which one did you want?"

"Happy Endings."

Jon looked at her with a confused expression. "Sugarland?"

"Yeah I love them." She smiled. "Do you know who they are?"

"Kind of yeah." Jon laughed. "You want me to sing that or something else?"

"No daddy we're here because I want to sing." She said. Then finally looked up at him. "Will you help me learn how so I don't hurt my voice?"

"I didn't know you even sang Steph, but yeah I'll help you." He sat down at the mixing board and stripped the track for her but couldn't help but wander what else he had missed since he had been gone.

"Can I go in there? Like a real singer." She pointed to the actual studio since they were standing in the mixing room.

"Sure baby girl, whatever you want to do. Did you want me to record it for you or do you just want to try it?"

"Can you work with me and record it when it sounds good?" She asked.

Jon shook his head while setting up the equipment for her. A part of wondered if she was just doing this to make him happy so she could spend time with him. But there was another part that saw how she acted like him the first few times in a studio. He knew that the talent was there but he wasn't sure what everyone else would think. "Let me know when you are ready Steph."

She walked up to the microphone and lowered it a little and then looked at her dad. "Will I be able to hear the music?"

"Grab those headphones on the stool that way the music is all you hear."

She grabbed them and put them on her head. They almost fell off. "Daddy are there any that are smaller?" She asked moving her head and laughed as they fell down to her shoulders.

Jon laughed as he ran into the booth "Give me those." he adjusted them the smallest they could go. "Does that work better?"

"Yep, now they stay on." She smiled at him then looked closer and saw that he was almost nervous. "Is it ok that I'm in here? I'm not breaking some code or anything right?"

"No baby you're fine." he touched her on the shoulder letting her know that she would be fine then walked back out to the mixing board.

She said into the microphone, "Ready dad"

Jon smiled as he flipped the button to allow the music to flow to her headphones and sat back in the chair.

Steph inhaled and then started singing when the lyrics normally started :

Cowboys ride into sunsets
The good guy always gets the girl
Cinderella has just fit
The glass slipper that changed her world

Then she took the headphones off and started giggling. "What is it Steph?"

"I'm nervous what if you don't like me singing."

"I'm liking what I'm hearing so far." he smiled.

She looked down and talked to herself forgetting that Jon can here her. "Stop it Steph you have to be perfect this is your way for dad to love you as much as the boys and football."

Stephanie didn't realize that Jon could hear everything from the booth and the words coming from his daughter cut like a knife. She thought the only way to win her dad's heart was to be a perfect singer which was far from the truth. Jon loved her more than anything.

"OK ready again daddy."

He flipped the switch once again but this time he hit the record button without her knowing.

Steph looked down and then inside her mind reminded herself she's Jon Bon Jovi's daughter she can do this. She inhaled and then opened her mouth and a heavenly voice sang:

Cowboys ride into sunsets
The good guy always gets the girl
Cinderella has just fit
The glass slipper that changed her world

She started swinging her hips to the music and continued.

We all know the stories
We all know the fairy tales
We all get the glory
Of making it for ourselves

From the beginning
We're all looking for a happy ending
Every dream of winning
Every love we've been in
Right from the beginning
We're looking for a happy ending

Her voice was shaky when she tried to go lower than normal like Jennifer does in the song. But she kept going Daddy would help her learn how to control that.

Jon sat there in pure amazement, that was his baby girl singing in front of him and she sounded damn good.

We come here with nothing
And take it with us the day we leave
The first and last breath don't matter
It's all the ones that are in between
It's the reason for living
It's the reason the caged bird sings
It's why we sit in the movies
All the way to the closing scene

By now Steph was dancing and had her eyes closed as she sang.

And for all the dreams who have come and gone
Who have reached for the stars who have overcome
You're the hope, you're the wish, you're the truth
Baby here's the proof
Baby's born in the ghetto
Baby's born with a silver spoon
One tells his mama, "I'll have a dream."
One tells his mama, "I'll walk the moon"

Once the last lyric was done she opened her eyes and looked hesitantly to her dad to see hopefully his approval not disgust.

Jon turned the music off before he motioned for her to come back around to him. She put the headphones down and slowly walked to him hoping against everything he didn't tell her something like how dumb she was for thinking she could sing.

"How long have you been doing this?" Jon asked softly while staring into her blue eyes.

Her eyes started to water, he hated it. "Since fall."

"I sure as hell wish you would have told me sooner. Steph you're a natural at this."

Her heart swelled and tears fell from her eyes. "You don't hate it?"

"No I don't hate it." he wiped the tears from her eyes and pulled her onto his lap. "You made me proud baby girl."

"Really?" She asked hoping against hope that she now had something to share with her dad.

"Yeah and when you first went in there I honestly wasn't expecting that, I mean you have my genes but....." he shook his head still amazed. "I would be proud to do a duet with you."

She opened her eyes the size of 50c pieces. "Are you shitting me?"

"No I'm not shitting you." he laughed. "And watch your language."

"Sorry daddy. You have no idea how much this means to me. Finally I have something special with you too."

"You've always had a special bond with me Steph."

"Not like the boys." She admits looking up at him with tears in her eyes. "You always come home, see us all for an hour then go play with your sons for 5 hrs or until mom calls you in."

"I just thought that you didn't want me around honey. You are growing up on me way to much."

"A girl needs her daddy. When you didn't come for the father daughter dance I thought its cos I'm not as important as the boys."

"No it's because I didn't know about it. And as far as you not being important thats definitely not true."

"Ok. So can you help me? My voice goes silly when I try to sing lower?"

"I think most of it is nerves to be honest with you. I used to do the same thing."

"So how did you stop it?" She moved and sat next to him in the mixing booth.

Before he could respond Dot opened the door to the studio and smiled. "Hey you two want lunch?"

"I could go for some food, how about you Steph?"

"Sure."

"You two having fun? He's not boring you is he Steph?" Dot had no idea what they were up to in the studio she could only assume it was listening to some of Jon's music.

"I don't bore people I entertain." Jon smirked.

"That's your story honey." She laughed as she exited the studio and went back up to the house.

"Do you wanna go in for lunch then come back out here?"

"If you want to." Steph still was shocked that her dad thought she could sing.

Jon stood up and once again wrapped his arms around his daughter. "You know what?"

"What?"

"I bet Jennifer would love to sing that song with you."

"You know Jennifer Nettles?" Steph was shocked, how could she not know her dad knew her favorite female singer.

"Yeah I know her." he replied as they walked to the house.

"How did I not know that?"

"Because when I tell you about my music you roll your eyes and walk away." he laughed.

"Well dad you sing boy music, I only have like 3 of your songs I can sing in my range. I can sing Runaway you had a high voice then." She giggled as they walked across the lawn together.

Jon pushed her away playfully. "I have nothing else to say to you."

"You did its not a lie. I don't like She don't know me though - it doesn't sound much like your other stuff." Steph laughed letting her dad know she does know his music.

"Wow I'm impressed! And the reason that didn't sound like our music is because we didn't write it." Jon opened the door allowing her to go into the house first.

"What? Why is it on the album then?" Steph asked as Jake and Romeo come running up - "Daddy play ball with us" Jake begs.

"Not today buddy. Today is Stephanie's day with daddy."

"But she's a girl" Romeo says.

"Yeah and that's why she gets her own special day with me." Jon smiled as he ran his fingers through Romeos hair.

"I'm telling mommy." Romeo says and ran into the kitchen. "Mom daddy won't play wit us"

"I know Romeo he's spending time with Steph its her turn you guys had daddy for football yesterday."

"Dat not fair want today too" Romeo pouted.

"We don't always get everything we want Romeo. You can play with your brothers though." Dot offered and gave him a sandwich.

Jon watched his youngest son pout as he walked over to the table. "So whats for lunch baby?" he asked as he slipped his arm around her waist.

"Salads and sandwiches." She smiled kissing him, so happy he is spending time with Steph she needed her dad too.

"Do I get served or do I get to make my own?"

"Here's a plate pick what you want." She smiled at him, she had made cucumber sandwiches, ham sandwiches and peanut butter and jelly.

"Easy enough." he smiled taking a ham sandwich and a cucumber sandwich. "What did you want Steph?"

"Cucumber." She smiled so happy that she's the center of his attention today.

Jon grabbed the sandwiches and took them back to the table. "Are you going to eat Dot?"

"Oh yeah when the boys all have their lunches I'll eat whatever one is left." She explained.

"Why do you have to wait for?"

"Otherwise they'll complain that they didn't get what they wanted." Dot knows her sons well.

Jon shook his head not believing she did that. He stood up and walked over toward her holding his hand out and led her back to the table. "You are going to sit down and have lunch."

"Jon the boys" She started

"Don't worry about them, you told them lunch was ready." he argued. "What kind of sandwich did you want?"

"Ham. And a salad."

Jon got her sandwich and salad ready then sat it down in front of her. "Mommy needs to eat too." he placed his hand on her shoulder then kissed her cheek before taking the seat across from her.

Jesse walked over to the counter with Jake following. "Hey why didn't we have any ham sandwiches?"

"We do." Jon got up from his seat and walked over to the refrigerator to grab the pack of ham along with the bread. "You guys didn't come down when she called so you fix your own today." He didn't say anything else before going back to the table.

Dot looked at Jon like I will make them. But didn't say it out loud.

Jon shook his head no and mouthed the word "No"

"But dad, mom always makes them!" Jesse whined.

"Yeah daddy her makes em'"

"Maybe this will teach you guys a lesson to come down when your mom asks you to." Jon replied hastily while eating.

"Fine then I just won't eat!" Jesse argued.

"Me eder!" Jake crossed his arms and followed his older brother. "Hmmph.....I no need food."

"Jon I can't let them go hungry." Dot said starting to stand up.

"Sit your butt back down." he demanded. "I know my son's and they will be back in a few minutes."

"Jon - tone" Is all she said hoping he understood he was treading on shaky ground with his words.

"Sorry."

"My brothers the drama kings." Steph laughed. "Romeo don't act like them k?"

"K" He smiled his pb & j was gone. "Can I have more?"

Jon decided to stay on his wife's good side and get the sandwich for him. "You think you can eat another buddy?"

"Yeah I grow." Romeo laughed. Jon took the sandwich over to him and sat it down in front of him.

The other two boys came back into the kitchen and saw their dad hand Romeo a sandwich. "Hey why does he get special treatment?" Jesse asked.

Steph got up from the lunch table not wanting to witness this and went into the family room to play on the computer.

"Because he can't reach the damn counter that's why." These two boys were working him over today.

"So maybe I can't make my own sandwich." Jesse replied sarcastically.

"Okay that's it" Jon walked over to his oldest son and pointed his index finger at him. "You guys need to realize that your mom is not your maid, she is not here to cater to your every need. If you need something that you can't fix ask her but now that I'm back home things are going to change. If you can't make your own sandwich then either don't eat or come down when she asks you to. End of discussion."

"Mom!" Jesse shouted.

"You heard your father. I've babied all of the boys in this house for far to long."

"Fine!" Jesse mumbled then turned toward the counter to make him and Jake a sandwich.

Just then Stephanie ran back into the kitchen. "Mom did you know Dad knows Sugarland?"

"Yeah sweetie they won an award together." Dot smiled. "Why the sudden interest in that?'

"You won an award with them and you didn't tell me? Dad!" She exclaimed. "I was singing a Sugarland song for Dad and he said he knew them."

"You sing?" Dot asked.

"You didn't' know Dot?" Jon was a little surprised figuring that Dot had known.

"No. What else don't I know Stephanie." She smiled.

"My boyfriends name is Chris." She laughed and walked out of the room.

"When did she get a boyfriend?" Jon laughed.

"Well that one I knew." Dot laughed. "They've been together 3 weeks I think."

"Ahhh young love." he smiled wrapping her arms around her.

"I remember that." Dot laughed.

"KISS" Romeo laughed.

"Yeah they are a great band Romeo." Jon joked.

"NO KISS MOMMY" He yelled at his daddy.

"Well I can't deny my youngest sons wonderful suggestion." he smiled leaning into her for a small kiss.

Dot decided to mess with him and while Jon intended for the kiss to be sweet and innocent she got up and crawled onto his lap and deepened it immensely.

He could feel the start of an erection growing as the kiss deepened.

Dot wiggled around a bit to the song in her head and finally stopped the kiss. "Is that ok Romeo?"

"Yeah I good." He smirked and ran into the living room.

"I good too." Jon grinned pulling her in for another kiss.

As they kissed Steph ran back into the room. "You didn't tell me you did a concert with them?" Noticing they weren't paying attention. "Hey hello daughter here!"

Jon looked our the corner of his eyes and reluctantly broke the kiss. "Look baby our daughter's here.'

"Yeah I was quickly remembering how we made her." Dot laughed.

"Dad why didn't you tell me you did a concert with them?"

"You never asked"

"You're the dad you're supposed to keep me informed." Steph laughed.

"How are you even finding this stuff out?"

"Hello - internet!"

"Yeah I like the internet." Jon wiggled his eyebrows at his wife remembering what they had done earlier.

"You don't even know how to use it do you?" She laughed.

"With a little help from your mom I can." he laughed. "Plus I saw your little instructions."

"Good. Are you done with lunch?" She wanted to get back to father daughter day.

"I don't know." He glanced back at his wife. "Are we finished?

"For now. I'll reserve your time for after she goes to bed." Dot smiled.

"I'm gonna hold you to that." he smiled after kissing her and removing her from his lap. "You ready Steph?

"Yes." She couldn't wait to go back out and continue her day with Jon.

Chapter 15

As they walked into the studio Steph looked back at her dad. " should we do the same song again?"

"That's up to you Steph, but I would like to hear what your range is."

"I can sing Runaway or many other things if I hear it." Steph told him.

"So you can pick up on the pitches after just hearing a song?"

"Normally, if its a clean recording."

The proudness set in for Jon, his daughter began to remind him of himself when he was younger. "You know that takes talent Steph, how do you do without the music?"

"I just listen. Music is all around me, has been my whole life. What do you want me to sing daddy?" She asked hoping for some guidance from the man that has been here, done this.

"Do you think you can do Runaway?" he smiled as they walked back into the studio. "I mean can you top the perfect original version?" he smirked.

"I don't know your voice was pretty high there dad." She cracked walking into the booth and putting the headset on.

"Yeah it was! Just let me know when you're ready."

"Ready dad."

Jon turned on the music then watched his daughter but noticed that she was really nervous. And he couldn't blame her one bit, even he still got nervous from time to time.

"Dad stop please."

"What is it Steph?"

"Can you turn down Richie's guitar a bit and up Dave's keyboards?" She asked professionally.

He laughed and did as she said. "My little perfectionist." he said softly as he sat back in the chair.

Steph then looked down and moved into herself, knowing that she had to make this hers if it was ever going to pass with dad's approval.

Her voice started out a step lower than Jon's when she sang:

On the street where you live girls talk about their social lives
They're made of lipstick, plastic and paint
A touch of sable in their eyes

All your life all you asked
When is your Daddy gonna talk to you
But we're living in another world
Tryin' to get your message through

She looked up to her dad to see his thoughts. She kept her eyes locked on her dad as she sang the song, again her body moved shaking her butt almost as much as Jon did in the early days. Finally in the last chorus her voice rocked solidly to a pitch higher one that Jon reached. Not perfectly in pitch on every note but definately within range for the song.

Ooh, she's a little runaway
Daddy's girl learned fast
All those things he couldn't say
Ooh, she's a little runaway

He sat there in amazement not believing that was his little girl. "Do you wanna try another one?" He saw the same determination in her eyes as he had as a young kind.

"Sure daddy what song?"

Jon pondered on what his daughter could sing that would really test her vocally then he glanced over and saw a performer on the front of a magazine. "Do you know any Christina Aguilera?"

"Dad she's like super cool. Of course I do."

It certainly wasn't his favorite but the girl had amazing range. "How about Beatiful?"

"Ok can you get the music. I'm not good at acappella yet."

"Possibly." he looked through the stack of cd's not having any luck.

"Do you have this cd in your room?"

"Yeah but its also on my ipod."

"Did you bring that out with you?"

"You have it in there, its where you stripped the vocals on Sugarlands song from."

"I knew that." he laughed and picked it up off the sound board. He sat there for a few minutes getting the song. "Kids and their
technology." he shook his head still not understanding how you could possible get that many songs on something so small.

Steph walked back into the mixing room and laughed. "Having problems dad?"

"Whatever happened to records?" he laughed.

"They went out with big hair." She cracked.

"Smart ass." he chuckled as he handed her the ipod.

Steph had the song up in about 3 sec. "Here you go father. Need your bifocals I can run and get them."

"You only found that because I got it started for you." he smirked

"Sure dad. If you say so." She laughed.
"Get back in there baby girl." he laughed while getting the song ready for her.

"Ok but then will you help me instead of just listening." She asked hopefully letting him know she truly wanted his opinion.

"Absolutely that's what I'm here for."

"Ok." Steph then walked back in and got ready, she took a long drink of water and then looked at her dad. "Ready."

Jon went through the motions once again but this time instead of leaning back in his chair, his elbows rested on the sound board so he could watch her closely.

Again Steph looked down to try to get the confidence up to start this.

Every day is so wonderful
And suddenly, it's hard to breath
Now and then, I get insecure
From all the pain, I'm so ashamed

I am beautiful no matter what they say
Words can't bring me down
I am beautiful in every single way
Yes, words can't bring me down Ohh, nooo
So don't you bring me down today

Her voice shook as she tried to stay with what Christina normally did.

To all your friends, you're delirious
So consumed in all your doom, Ohh
Tryin' hard to fill the emptiness
The piece is gone left the puzzle undone
Is That the way it is?

you are beautiful no matter what they say
Words can't bring you down
Oh no, 'cause you are beautiful in every single way
Yes, words can't bring you down, Oh no
So don't you bring me down today...

By the end of that verse she lost it, when she tried to reach the next note her voice cracked and she stopped. She took the headphones off knowing she disappointed her dad.

He knew exactly what she was going through and decided to do what he did for himself. "Steph come in here to the kitchen."

"The kitchen?"

"Yeah, the little area over here we eat in." Jon laughed as he walked through the door and went over to the counter to fill up the coffee pot with water.

"Dad you don't eat in the studio?"

"I have many times baby girl." he sighed when he thought about how much he had.

Steph walked back into the kitchen area. "Why are we back here?"

"I noticed your vocals got a little shaky."

"Yeah she's way better than me."

"No she's not Steph, she's just be doing this longer than you. You have the potential to be as good if not better than she is." he smiled as he brought the mug full of hot tea to his daughter. "And I'm not just saying that because you're my daughter."

"Are you sure?"

"Positive."

"Then why does my voice get horrible when I try."

"What do you want me to drink this for?"

"I told you before that most of the shakiness comes from nerves but some of it is the fact that you trying to hard to hit those high notes.

This is the best way to relax your vocal chords. The tea with a couple tablespoons of honey works wonders."

"Do you drink this too? Do you even still have to?" Steph asked.

"I will drink a couple of cups before I go on stage then a few sips in between shirt changes"

"Really?"

"Yeah and believe it or not I still take voice lessons."

"Really?" Steph says shocked.

"Alot of performers do, just because I do that for a living it doesn't mean that I still don't need to do the exercises."

"There are exercises?"

"Sure, but its not specifically for your vocal chords some if it has to do with controlling your breathing as you sing."

"Why is that important? I just open my mouth and sing."

He laughed "There is a little more to it than that though. Don't get me wrong you sounded really good in there but there is always room for improvement. Like every night when I'm on stage I try to top that previous night."

"How you're amazing." She admitted finally that she really has paid attention to him.

"But I can be better."

"My perfectionist dad." She laughed.

"Not a bad thing to be honey."

She took a drink of the tea. "This aint half bad."

"So why didn't you tell your mom about this?"

"Cos she doesn't sing."

"Yeah but she's your mom and you tell her everything right?"

"All the girl things, but singing makes her sad. I knew you could help more."

"What do you mean it makes her sad?" Jon questioned as he got himself a cup of tea.

"When you sing it means you're away. Mom sometimes cries, she misses having you home."

"She does?" Jon's face saddened having to hear that from his daughter. He knew that his wife was upset but he never imagined that she would let the kids see her upset.

"The boys never see but we talk, we spend time together lots."

"Do you mind me asking what else you two talk about?" he asked softly.

"Boys, what its like being related to you." She told him honestly while she jumped up in the corner of the counter, looking so much like him at his parents house in Sayreville.

"What is it like being related to me?" Jon swallowed hard unsure if he really wanted that answer from her.

"Its good, but its hard too. I never know if someone likes me for Steph or my last name."

Jon stood up with a smile and walked over to were she was sitting and leaned against the counter. "Well if they don't like you for being Stephanie then you don't need them."

"How does it feel being you dad?" She asked. Wondering if anyone has ever asked him that.

"It has it's good and bad times I guess."

"Meaning?"

"Meaning I would like to know what it's like to go somewhere with my family without somebody taking pictures or signing autographs."

"We get to escape sometimes."

"Not often enough though." he sighed. "Fame is great at times I'm not going to lie to ya. It's given me the chance and your mom for the matter to go to places we never could have went to if I had a regular job. But on the downside sometimes you start to feel like a
puppet.....you know doing what people want."

"What if that happens to me? My fear is it would become something thats a job not fun."

"Honey all I can tell you is if you love singing go for it and see what happens. But you have to promise me one thing."

"What dad?"

"That you are doing this for you and not because you think it will make me love you anymore. You are my one and only daughter Steph and I love you more than life itself."

Steph looked down. "Honestly daddy." Her eyes finally meeting his. "I don't sing because thats truly what I want to do forever. I sing so you and I can share something special like you have with the boys and football."

"Really?" he sounded somewhat dissapointed that she was doing this for him. "That's fine Steph but like I said you don't have to do that. But I will tell you that I do think that you have real potential if you ever change your mind." he gave her a small hug and kiss on the cheek.

"Fooled ya." She laughed and jumped off the counter and ran out into the studio.

Jon ran his hands through his hair and smile following her back into the studio.

"I like teasing you its fun"

"You and your mom seem to enjoy that." he laughed.

"I love singing daddy but I'm not some dumb singer, I want to go to college too."

"I won't stop you from doing that, to be honest I wish I would have."

"I want a business degree, I don't want to get taken to the cleaners."

"You want to be like your old man don't you." Jon smiled proudly.

"What smart about the fact that music is a business now?"

"No the fact that you want to be in control of the business side of whatever you do end up doing."

"Yeah just like you."

"Hey it's not a bad thing. I wish I would have done it a long time ago because I know I got screwed in a few deals.

"You did? Mom makes it sound like you always had the upperhand."

"Not hardly."

"Hey mom's got your back FYI"

"Yeah I know." he gave a half smile to his daughter. "Your mom is one helluva woman."

"Are you guys back to cool?" She asked her dad probably didn't know that she knew anything about them.

"We've always been fine Stephanie." he replied wondering how much she talked to her mom.

"Nice try dad."

"What?" he asked while nervously straightening up the stack of cd's.

"Dad I'm almost 16 I see and hear things. You're calls weren't ending in I love you for the past month."

"You heard those calls huh?"

"Mom normally didn't close the bedroom door when she'd talk to you."

"Well you don't have to worry about anything okay. Your mom and I talked while you guys were in Florida."

"You better have, I kind of like my family the way it is. Don't mess it up."

Damn she was a minature version of his wife attitude first and foremost. "You have my word baby girl."

"Good, now can I ask for something else?"

"I guess so."

"Will you write a song for use to sing together."

"You want us to sing together?" he asked making sure her heard her right.

"Yes, I want to sing with you but to our song. Nothing that the rest of the world will know. I'm not a 5yr old princess anymore." She told him.

"You always will be to me though." he smiled.

"I still don't like wearing shoes in the winter." She laughed and wrapped her arms around her dad's waist.

"Crazy girl of mine." he joked returning the hug.

"Will you though?"

"Yeah I will."

"Thanks daddy."

"Not a problem princess." he smirked knowing that wasn't her favorite name. "So when are you going to let mom hear you?

"Whenever." She shurrged. "Are you gonna record me?"

A guilty expression came across his face as he looked at her. "I kind of already did."

"What? You said you'd help me first."

"Steph you don't need a lot of help, I mean other than warming up you vocal chords first before you hit those higher notes."

"But we can record it again if you want."

"Can I hear it?" She asked.

"Gladly." Jon flipped the play button allowing her to hear her voice come over the sound system.

"Dad its flat."

"No it's not."

"Sounds pitchy." She criticizes herself.

"Honey it's fine trust me." He wrapped his arm around her shoulder. "I know a little about music." he laughed

"Are you sure?"

"I'm sure and once we get rid of those nerves it will be perfect."

"I'm trusting you here dad."

"You'll be fine just don't second guess yourself okay."

Just then the door to the mixing room opened. "Jon leave our only daughter alone she' - who's singing? New artist you're interested in?" Dot sputtered walking into the room.

Jon smiled at Stephanie then looked back at his wife. "That is our daughter." he said proudly.

"NO WAY - you fucking sing?" Dot said in full blown shock.

Jon's eyes widened at the choice of words his wife had used. "Dot! There is a minor in the room." he laughed.

"Oh like she hasn't said these words. Back up the song I want to hear it all."

Jon did as requested and started the song over from the beginning.

At the end of the song Dot walked over and took Stephanie in her arms and then moved back putting her hands on Steph's cheeks. "I love you you are so amazing sweetheart."

"Mommy" Steph finally broke into tears wrapped in her mothers' arms.

Jon stood back with tears building in his eyes watching the two favorite women in his life connecting.

Steph looked up and smiled. "Daddy you need a hug too?"

"Yeah come on Jon. Hold us tight." Dot smiled.

He didn't waste anytime wrapping his arms around both of them. "My two favorite ladies." he smiled kissing Steph on the cheek and then went to give his wife a small kiss.

"You're the best daddy."

"I try!"

Dot smiled loving that Steph finally had that special time with dad.

"Hey Steph, maybe your mom would like to watch you sing."

"Got a favorite song Mom- something from this or the last decade that I'd know."

"Can you sing Reba?" Dot was a closet country girl

"Sure." Steph grabbed her ipod and found the song she wanted and gave it to her dad.

"Come here let me show you how to do this."

"I thought you were my obie." She laughed.

"I don't think so." Jon laughed.

"Ok." She walked over to him and watched what he was doing.

"You'd actually let me in here without you."

"Yeah I think I would." he smiled finishing up the song. "Now whenever you are ready just push this button." he pointed toward the top of
the soundboard.

"And if you are here by yourself there is another button on the other side of the wall."

"Don't I have to go out there." She pointed to the other room.

"You don't have to"

"Really?"

"If you want to stay in here you just flip the switch beside that and it comes out those speaker." he pointed toward the speakers in the corners of the room.

"Ok, mom you have to go sit on Daddy's lap. This is the song I think is from your point of view to dad."

"Ok kiddo." Dot didn't know what she was up to but agreed to her request. She walked over and sat down on Jon's lap.

"I think I might like this." he teased her by kissing her neck.

"Minor in the room." She reminded him while Steph pushed the button to start.

As the music grew Steph looked at her parents:

The first time I laid my eyes on you I knew.

We'd spend this life side by side.
I still feel the same though you're so far away.
I swear that you'll always be my...
Forever love. I promise you.
Someday well be together.
Forever love. I wont give up. no matter what.
Ill be waiting for you. forever love.

Jon tightened his grip on his wife pulling her closer while looking into her eyes. Dot smiled brighter, her little girl was saying what she felt so well.

Minutes and hours and years may go by.
But my heart knows nothing of time.
So dont cry, just keep me right there.
In your dreams. and hold on to these words of mine.

Forever love. I promise you.
Someday well be together.
Forever love. I wont give up. no matter what.
Ill be waiting for you. forever love.
Love is the road to our destiny.
Nothing can change what is meant to be.

"Is that how you feel baby?" he whispered while his hand roamed her back.

"Everytime you're away. Steph how did you know?" Dot said while trying to hold her tears in.

"I just felt it mom. You love dad so completely and he loves you right back."

Steph realized her parents needed some alone time "Can I go be a kid now?"

"Sure baby girl. But if you want we can do this again."

"Yeah after I practice more I'd like that." She then runs up and almost knocked both Dot and Jon off the chair hugging her dad.

"Thank you."

"Your welcome honey."

Steph then got up and ran out to play in the yard with her brothers. Showing Jon that while she was growing up all the kid in her isn't quite gone.

"Thank you Dot."

"For what?" She asked unsure of what his thank you spoke to.

"For making her."

Chapter 16

A few days later Jon and Dot were on their way to the airport so they could start their well deserved alone time. Everything went as scheduled earlier, his parents took the kids to their home just a few minutes away and they actually got to the airport with time to spare which was unusual for him. Normally he gets there just in time to catch another flight but he enjoyed being able to grab a bite to eat with his wife and actually wasn't noticed by anyone at least no one acted like they recognized him.

"I'm impressed, alone time. And we only got called bad parents twice."

"Yeah, Jake and Romeo weren't to happy with us."

"How mean of us to want to spend time alone." Dot smiled at her husband while softly caressing his hand.

"Horrible." he laughed. "Jake told me before we left that if we bought him back a toy he would be okay with us leaving." he smiled still enjoying the soft touch of her.

"Oh well as long as there's a chance of us buying back our sons love." She laughed taking her finger over his wedding ring.

"Bring the kid a video game back and he's all cool." he joked while watching her. "I have you know that hasn't came off."

"I know but you haven't went on stage since you promised either. If its not comfortable we can get you a new one."

"I don't want a new one Dot, besides you picked this one out for me so I'm kind of attached to it.:

"Ok." She smiled. "Should we catch that plane."

He glanced down at his watch. "We have about 20 minutes but we can go ahead and walk down if you want"

"We're taking our plane aren't we?" She asked rubbing her finger over his ring again.

"Uh huh but Jerry isn't flying it like he usually does, it's the one that's normally his copilot".

"We can still go down then I'm ready to be all alone with my man."

"You sure about that?" he smirked.

"OH yeah, alone time, tropical paradise sounds good to me."

Jon stood up and reached out his hands to take both suitcases. "You ready?"

"Sure thing baby."

They walked down toward the private section of the airport without being noticed, which Jon sighed in relief once they actually got in through the door.

No questions were asked as he and Dot walked to the plane. Once at the door he was greeted by the pilot. Jon spoke with him for a few moments before leading Dot onto the plane where he placed their luggage back in the small bedroom portion of the plane.

"You know this is probably my favorite part of your fame." She told him.

"Not bad huh?"

"This I can enjoy."

"I'm glad because it's sure as hell not fun when you don't have anybody to enjoy it with." he said sadly as they both sat down and got ready for take off.

"But you always have someone with you Jon. Either the band or an employee."

"But I never had the one person that I wanted." he reached over for her hand and tightly embraced it.

"You've always had me sweetheart."

"I know but I mean here with me not a phone call away."

"We made the decision though Jon to let the kids have as normal of a life as possible."

"Yeah I know but that still doesn't mean that I didn't miss you guys like hell."

"We missed you too honey."

"I heard." Jon spoke a little to soon, damn when was he going to learn to think then speak.

"What?"

"Nothing. So ummm what did you think of Steph's singing?" he asked trying to change the subject.

"Nice try - spill it Bongiovi." She took his hand in hers tighter.

"Our daughter."

"What'd she tell you?" Dot wanted to know how much Jon knew.

Jon stared out the window as the plane became even again. "She just said that you two talked alot when I was away."

"We do, pretty much daily. What aren't you saying Jon?"

Jon turned back to face her with a sad expression on his face. "She told me how you would cry when I was gone."

"That's not a secret Jon I do cry when you're away, that side of the bed isn't warm when you're not there."

"Yeah you made me experience that remember."

"Its hard being left home and I'm glad I showed you what that felt like cos then maybe you'll call with the good night calls I used to get."

"No I won't." he said softly.

"Shit, guess that went out with dating huh" Dot said softly.

"What I meant is why would I call when I'm going to be right beside you?"

"Its still 2weeks at a time."

"I'll call during that time Dot. But when I'm not on the road, I hate to tell you this but you are going to be wrapped up in these arms."

"Do you remember the calls I'm talking about?"

"I think so." he started grinning from ear to ear. "So you still like those?" he asked kind of shocked.

"Makes me feel closer to you knowing you're calling me for that fix instead of going to someone else."

"I don't have to go to someone else for that you know that. Yeah its hard when I'm on the road and I see the guys with girls but I know I have you back home. Honestly that's what keeps me sane while I'm gone."

"I don't get it, having me gone helps?"

"No I didn't mean it like that. What I meant is that knowing that you are home waiting on me makes me forget about the temptation that is around me. At least I always hope you will be there waiting on me."

"Jon its gonna be a long flight lets go lay down."

"Did I say something wrong?" he walked behind her unsure because of her actions.

"No." She said quietly walking to the bedroom.

"Honey?" he walked in behind her shutting the door still wondering exactly what she was up to.

"What Johnny?" She asked.

Well she called me Johnny so it can't be that bad. He smiled walking over toward her wrapping his muscular arms around her. "Are you that tired baby?"

"No I'm fine, I'm just in my funk."

"Any way to get you out of it?" he teased her by moving his hands over back.

"Lay down with me and tell me how you feel about out love."

"Love?" he smirked. "I love, love."

"I know silly but talk to me. Please. This is one of those times I feel lonely even when I'm with you."

Jon led her over to the bed as requested and made himself comfortable by putting a pillow behind his back. "So what do want to know about love?" he smiled as his wife rested her head on his chest.

"Our love, what it does for you, whats something that out of the blue no matter what makes you remember our first date, or our first kiss."

"What does it do for me? It's what gets my ass out of bed every morning. I live for you and our kids. And as far as what reminds me of our first date..." he smiled. "Every time I hear anything related to a Sam and Dave song reminds me of that night."

"Whenever I see a peach rose it reminds me of that night." She laughed remembering Jon trying to bring her a rose but not wanting it to be red cos he knew that meant love so he got her a peach one not knowing that meant desire so it ended up being - oh really you want me already huh?

"Yeah I did that on purpose." he laughed.

"Sure you did honey." She laughed cuddling up to him. "What reminds you of our first kiss?"

"Other than seeing the vision of your dad staring out the window waiting on his baby girl?" he joked.

"Silly I mean when we aren't together. Jon I'm really trying to get you to open your heart to me here." She said rather frustrated. She really wanted to know little things mattered to him. It could be that guys didn't care about little things but since he writes such beautiful detailed songs he had to.

"Actually strawberries reminds me of our first kiss." he smiled.

"Strawberries?"

"Uh huh, you had on strawberry lip stuff that night. Never looked at a damn strawberry the same way again."

"Really? Should I find that lip stuff again?"

"You could but there isn't a need for it." he smiled then placed his finger under her chin so that he could kiss her. "I kind of like kissin' ya anyway."

"But it would bring back memories." She smiled.

"That it would sweetheart."

"Whats the thing about me that's kept you coming back for more?" Dot smiled.

Jon smiled. "Where do I start? I guess the main thing is that you love me Jon Bongiovi from Sayreville, you don't give a shit about the rockstar side. And the fact that we've been together so long plays a factor in it too. I mean honestly speaking you are the only woman I ever want to be with emotionally, physically and sexually."

"I hate to ask but how can you say that when?"

"Dorothea" he sat up straighter so that he could face her. "I've made mistakes I know it and you know it. I'm not by any means proud that I did it but I've apologized numerous time and I think I've paid for those mistakes. All that happened years ago but would I do it again and risk losing you? No I wouldn't. You're my world baby, you have to know that by now. And I would like to put the past behind us and start a new future together."

Chapter 17

"So what are you saying Jon?" Dot asked, wondering exactly where his mind is.

"What I'm saying is that both of us made mistakes during our marriage and I'm willing to put that behind us."

"In other words Dot stop bringing it up." She restated.

"Putting it nicely yeah. I don't ever want to you to feel that you have to go find comfort in another man's bed."

"What's something I can use then, a phrase or an action to get you to open your eyes to me instead of giving me lip service and I swear to
God if you say that don't give me lip service sometimes I'll spank you." Dot smiled taking his hand in hers.

"I don't know what you just said but I heard the word spank so you now have my attention." he grinned playfully tightening his grip on her hand.

"I swear when we get to the villa I have a present for you and your ass. What I meant Jon is what can I say or do to point out how you're treating me if I can't reference a time in our lives where you treated me horribly. I don't want this to get to a point where I don't matter, I need a code word or action from you that's going to instantly pull you out of rockstar mode or businessman mode and get your attention back on me."

"Kick me in the ass and I mean that literally. If I go off into my own little world give me a smack to bring me back to reality."

"No Jon I don't want to hit my husband to get him to wake up. We teach the kids not to hit, honestly what will draw your attention back?"

"Kiss me? That's the one thing you do that makes me realize who I am and more importantly who I belong to."

Dot looked at him like he had three heads. "Really?"

"Why does that surprise you?"

"Cos I didn't think I affected you like that. That you belong to me?" She tried hard to hold back a grin but failed miserably

"Of course I belong to you." he smiled. "Who in the hell else would put up with me longer than 5 minutes?" he joked then took her other hand into his. "Seriously though, the first time we met you took my heart with you."

"Jon" She smiled loving what he was saying and wanting more but not daring to ask.

"Do you know why I married you?" he asked while propping himself up on his elbow say that he could look directly at her.

"Cos I was getting bitchy about not having the commitment?" She pondered.

"Not exactly." he smiled. "It's because I had spent the last 7 years making everybody happy but myself."

"And how does that relate to marrying me?" God she felt dumb making him spell everything out for her but she doubted so much recently.

"Because no matter what I did I never did make myself happy at least not until we went to Vegas."

"Are you saying that made you happy? Getting married? I know what it symbolized for me but what did it mean for you?" Dot asked.

"It meant that I could finally be complete. I wouldn't be the man I am today without you in my life."

"Thanks Jonny." Dot reached over and kissed him softly. "I don't always know how I impact you. I can't always see that I matter so its good to hear."

"Of course you matter to me." he smiled. "I couldn't imagine being with anyone else.....more importantly I couldn't think of a better mother for my children."

"Thanks Jon." She smiled. "Tell me what was the best and worst thing about being single? Do you remember back that far."

"Unfortunately I do." he sighed and closed his eyes thinking back to everything he had done. "We had fun I'm not going to lie to ya, but
being single isn't all that fun. A new girl every night isn't for me, I prefer to have one woman that I can come home to and spend time with."

"But doesn't it suck that I'm not with you on the road?"

"Hell yes it does but you are doing something a little more important back home."

"What raising our rugrats? Or teaching Karate?" She smiled.

"A little of both, but mainly raising our kids to be decent human beings. I know that can't be easy to do. Those two little ones kill me after 3 days." he laughed.

"They do that cos you're daddy and they miss daddy. The two older ones are used to the breaks in you being home."

"Yeah I miss them to....more than they will ever know. I regret not being there to hear their first words or watching them take their
first steps."

"You saw Jake's first steps and heard his first word which aggravated me - daaad. I'm there all the time and he says dad."

"He's my buddy what can I say?"

"He is so much you its scary." Dot acknowledges while leaning against Jon.

He began running his fingers through her hair to brush it away from her eyes. "What do you mean?"

"The kid hates clothes and drops his everywhere. And he likes strawberry milk not chocolate or white like the rest of us - strawberry like you."

"I don't mind clothes." he chuckled. "But I do think there are certain times when they aren't needed." he smirked. "And as far as strawberry's I'm pretty sure he doesn't like them because of the reason I do."

"I doubt it but he does remind me more and more of you every day. He has this twinkle in his eye like you get on stage. When he knows we're all watching him do something he's bigger and louder about it." Dot told Jon with a smile bright in her eyes when talking about her baby.

"He may be the next big rock star who knows." Jon smiled

"He also knows he's adorable like someone else I know." Dot smiled.

"Who's that?"

"I don't know if you know him but he's this super guy I'm married to." The smile in her eyes now reached her mouth.

"Oh yeah, he is a great guy." Jon laughed while pulling her closer.

"Yes he truly is." Dot then reached up and kissed him.

Jon returned her kiss while still holding her in his arms. "He is absolutely crazy about his wife too."

"Is he really?" She smiled kissing him again completely enjoying spending time with her husband like this. Just the two of them.

"Yep, he would do anything for her to keep her happy."

Dot turned and crawled on top of him and layed down. "I love you."

"I love you to Dorothea." he glanced over at the clock and noticed they had only been in the air for a couple hours. "So since we still have a while would you like a little wine or something?" he smiled.

"Sure baby." She smiled and kissed his neck rolling off him so he could pour the wine.

Jon got up off the bed and went over to the small table, where he grabbed the bottle of wine and two glasses. "Did you want something
to eat too? I mean we don't have a stewardess but there should be something in the kitchen."

"No I'm good, I'd rather have you."

"That shouldn't be a problem." he laughed as he carried the glasses over and handed her one. "This isn't your favorite, but its all we have on here."

"What? Slacker? You don't have my favorite wine on board." She laughed trying hard to be a prissy demanding high society woman but
failing miserably.

"Afraid not madam." he smirked.

"You'll just have to satisfy me in other ways then." She laughed.

"And what way would that be?" he asked playfully.

"I'm thinking lots of tender caresses, lots of kisses."

"Like this?" he asked softly before kissing her on the shoulder.

"OH yeah." She smiled taking a sip of wine while he does that.

"How about this?" he smiled just before moving to her neck, then to her earlobe.

She closed her eyes and moaned as he did that. It feels so perfect to have him there with her.

Jon took her glass and sat it along side his on the small stand near the bed. "You know out of all the trips we've taken I don't think we've
ever done this on a plane." he smiled while lying down beside her and caressing the soft skin under her shirt.

"OH and what are you talking about Mr. Bongiovi?" She smirked.

"Taking a nap what do you think?" he curled up beside her pretending to fall asleep.

"JON!" She reached around and smacked his ass.

"What?" he teased.

"You know what you brat."

Chapter 18

"And does the Misses want something?" he smirked while teasing her neck.

"yes, you!"

"I guess I'll have to do something about that then." He moved himself in between her legs allowing her to feel his growing erection. "See what you still do to me." he whispered just before kissing her.

She smiled the grin of a woman who knows her husband is hers completely. "Yeah I feel what I do to you and I love it." She smiled moving her legs up and around his hips.

"Can I ask you something baby?"

"Sure." She smiled kissing his collarbone.

"If I wouldn't have gotten that little snip after Romeo was born, would you have considered making another baby with me?"

"The act of making the baby is completely acceptable I don't know though if I could handle 5 of them alone." Dot admitted to him.

"But what if I would have promised to be there?"

"Jon you can't make that promise and honey we're older now. Come on if I got pregnant now it'd be incredibly high risk at 46 and we'd be 65 when the kid was 18 that's not fair to them. DO you want another baby?" She pointed out softly but firmly.

"Do I want another one? Yes. Do I want to risk your life? No" Jon answered as honestly as he could.

"Whats up with you always wanting to make kids when you're home?"

"I guess its the one way that I can get completely close to you." he admitted.

"Baby you can get that close to me just not actually produce the child. Make love to me that committed, and then we'll go home after vacation and hang out with the children we already have. The ones that need us." She ran her hand up into his hair and kissed him softly.

"As long as I'm close to you that's all that matters a baby is just an added bonus." he smiled

"I honestly think our four kids is where we should stay. Its just too hard, if we were 10 yrs younger Jon I'd be into it more."

"I know baby." he leaned over and kissed her. "You know that's the one thing I had always regretted about letting my career take over. I wasn't able to marry you sooner so we could start on that family."

"How big of a family do you seriously want Jon?" Dot asked. "Honestly I think we have an amazing family, our kids are spectacular."

"Yeah we do have a great family." he replied proudly.

"Answer me though Jon?" Dot now wanted to know what was missing in his eyes.

"Honestly?" he asked wondering what she would say when he told her.

"Of course honestly."

"I always wanted three of each"

Dot's eyes almost bugged out of her head. "Six kids?"

"Yeah I love kids Dot. And I love you."

"I know you love both, Jon this is one though I think we really should agree with my point of view. I'm sorry." She feels horrible telling him she doesn't want anymore kids but honestly she's pretty much raised the first 4 alone, she didn't have the energy to do that with 2 more.

"I know that baby I was just thinking out loud as usual."

"I don't want to disappoint you though Jon. Honestly I just don't have the energy to do it all over again."

"Disappoint me? You couldn't do that if you tried sweetheart."

"But you want more kids and I don't."

"That doesn't mean I'm going to stop loving you though. Look we have four great kids already, besides that it's not all about what I want okay. You have a say in this too and I respect that." he kissed her on the cheek while still lying on top of her. "To be honest I'm perfectly content with what we have."

"So why did you say you want more?" Dot asked even more confused now.

"Baby I was just thinking that's all okay. I just asked a question."

"ok." She said then kissed him timidly.

He could tell just by the kiss she had given him that he had said the wrong thing. The last thing he wanted was to make her feel bad for not wanting any more kids, because that was not his intention

"Jonny I'm sorry I'm not everything you want. I'm sorry I don't want more kids." She cried, the tears appeared without her consent.

"Baby you are everything I want....everything I need." Damn he didn't realize that this would make her so upset, had he known he wouldn't have said a word.

"Like you said we are both older and besides that in a few years I'm sure we will have grand kids." Jon's eyes widened when he actually said that out loud, he'd thought about it but actually saying it made it seem real.

"Oh my GOD I hate you for saying that. Our baby girl isn't old enough to give us grand kids." She swatted at his chest.

"Yeah well I prefer for her to never have sex but it's gonna happen whether we want it to or not."

"lets not think about our angel growing up, its scary." Dot ran her hand through her hair like Jon normally always does, he noticed of course.

"Yeah it's terrifying." he laughed softly.

"Is she gonna be alright Jon? When celebrity kids grow up sometimes they rebel."

"She has you as a mom so what does that tell you?"

"Jon seriously though I fear for them - have we sheltered them too
much?" Dot asked knowing Jon would say no but she wanted and needed to have this discussion with him.

"No we haven't, I mean if you think about we haven't sheltered them at all. They don't have body guards that follow them to school and Steph along with Jesse still go out with their friends like normal kids."

"But baby they live on a huge estate and go to private school. I'm not sure they are prepared for reality of what being related to you means."

"Stephanie and Jess both have good heads on their shoulders though I'm not worried about them. And as far as the real world goes, you show them that when you take them to the soup kitchen and let them help out. It shows them that while they have a good life it could damn well be worse for them."

"I'm just thinking press and stuff. I mean look at what happened to the Olsen twins when they hit NY the press tore them apart."

"yeah but they were the ones that were famous."

"I know but it seemed to me like when they hit 18 the press went no holds barred. Look at how they stalk kids now a days. I don't want our kids getting culture shock."

"Dorothea they will be fine." Jon assured her.

"Ok, you wanna take my mind off my fear stud?" She smiled wanting to get into vacation mode with Jon.

"If you will let me!" he joked.

"Hey what's this about letting you, you're the man, take what you want buddy." She smirked at him.

"Don't even tell me that." he replied with one of the most seductive voices she had ever heard.

"OH I like that voice, do it again." She smiled kissing his neck.
He only grinned at his wife before slowly unbuttoning her shirt and kissing her exposed skin as he went down her stomach.

"OH what are you thinking there sexy?"

"Thinking about how we are about to join the mile high club." He sat up on his knees and started unbuttoning her pants. "At least if that's what you wanted to do."

"OH hell yeah." She stated a bit louder than even she anticipated. Her hand quickly flying to her mouth.

Jon started laughing seeing his wife acting like a teenager again. "That was so damn cute."

"Oh you like that huh?" Dot laughed and sat up on her knees and started nibbling on his chest
